Isn’t hiring a good ole boy a DEI hire? Back in the day when a white man hired a friend that wasn’t qualified….. seems to me the definition of a DEI hire? Am I wrong?

You're 100% right, like Brian Harrison. His dad, Ed Harrison, is a longtime Republican activist and ran for Congress in the 90s. Then, Brian got a job at the White House straight out of college. I'm sure it was through his dad's connections.

Yup, sounds like DEI hire to me. I wonder if we can get them to back off by saying to them. If I was a principal I would hire only my only minorities because I don’t see that as DEI. How will that go? 🤬

I once suggested that a legislator who succeeded in getting blatantly unconstitutional bills passed should have to pay the litigation costs incurred by the state when it had to defend such idiocy. It was a nice fantasy.
