"House Republicans are looking to cut SNAP benefits in an attempt to reduce federal spending

The hefty cuts were outlined in a list of spending reform options, first obtained by Politico"

Now if we were as concerned about this as MAGA was to get Hegseth nominated we would be at every church from now till...necessary

We won't.

It will get debated and traded away or slimmed down and if ur a poor person u may never have even been made of aware of the threat.

Beto or whoever will spend 12 month revising the mailing list cause their $3 beggin letter pissed off so many people they stopped being registered Dems...or they will move to another HQ or get some new software or maybe work on a new logo.

What the new Chair of TDP will not do is organize a sustained and wide spread protest to protect the nutrition of poor Texas kids.

Please report here the first organized protest by statewide Dems. Protesting after the fact doesn't count.

That's gross, the overt touching (for a party that endlessly criticized the President for doing the same). Have to walk up with a preemptively outreached hand to signal the handshake now and remind them to "make space for Jesus." The weird touching could make for some memes though.

That’s what I want to scream to all female Republican politicians: your male colleagues have NO respect for you. All they want from you is 100% support for their initiatives and for you to keep your mouth shut.

They are actually videos, but I'm not sure how to do 'print text only.' I'll look into it.

Republicans are waiting to debate the rules until after TFG is sworn in?

Maybe they're expecting a lot of changes that will make their rules unnecessary?😬

Maybe. I’m not sure why there’s a delay, I suspect behind the camera the Republican Caucus is in shambles.

lets face it folks ...Texas is somewhere between the Duchy of Grand Fenwick and Armenia.

"Robert Downen, who covers politics and extremism for The Texas Tribune, posted to X, "At the Texas Capitol, Christian worshippers are blessing the walls of a hearing room to protect lawmakers from spiritual forces and the 'Jezebel' spirit. 'Pray for the fear of the Lord to come into this place,' says MercyCulture pastor Landon Schott."

very interesting comment on the hugging and kissing.....defiantly a power play...constantly defining the women as 2nd class. Why the women don't swat away the hugs...Believe me as a man it takes only one such rebuff.

still waiting for an answer white ladies..why did ur sista's vote u down?

someone somewhere has thought about this.

let's hear it for black women. They always respond to the white patriarchy by gesturing to them to keep their hands to their-selves. Other ways too!

I haven't seen a Headline like this about my white sistas'.....i guess another round of tisk-tisking and then its back to pilates?

'"We can't just give in": Women of color are still processing Harris' loss while preparing for Trump.

Women of color spoke to Salon about Harris' defeat and how they're planning to fight Trump this time around"

By the way a bunch of us WMPs...white male progressives did alot and gave up a lot to open the doors for women.....u all walked up to the threshold and stuck ur noses in and then turned on ur heels and retreated. Was it a case that u didn't know anything about or how to speak to MAGA women or that women weren't really believing Hillary or Kamala had the chops. So far to date no one has said nothing.

Why did abortion in Texas go from being a thing to no thing?

I know in FTW and Tarrant County all eyes are on the up coming Mardi Gras fundraiser and there are no discussion of how we lost ground. Should we just think so many women just loved the molester Don and in 2026 or 2028 all will return to usual.? They sure didn't vote as if he were a threat. That's a big question to answer and so far no one has even asked.

I would in that position, but I'm a feminist, Republican women are not.

"thanks Tim for that incredible question. What do you know Mr. Smarty Pants?"

Thank you caller: "I know this after 2024 election I talked to a dozen poor white MAGA moms and grandmoms. To a mom they said "well we never heard from a D or about the D's ideas" ...."our sons or grandsons or husbands listen to Fox or play video games or podcasts , i dunno what. They don't listen to TV news"....."Me, i am too busy so i go along with men in my family".

A few distrusted Kamala , a fellow XX'er for have 2 X chromozones.

PS: Pam Bondi just blew thru her hearing....she would do fine on the floor of the Texas House...very deferential to Trump and indicates she will be loyal to Trump over USA>
