Michelle i cannot express how happy am i see to this because i see this as a reflection of the grassroots organizing in Texas. i am 100% confident that this would never happen under Gilberto Leadership if he was still leader. I have to believe that this is a sign that Texas may change. It has to cause the electoral college will be leaning more towards Florida and Texas.

No no not fingers crossed. America needs this be crossed. Let it cross over to a progressive and left leaning era. Far right has no solutions. At the end of the day its our labor and efforts that go through.

This is great news! As I've mentioned before, I see what's happening in Texas as a bellwether and a model for the rest of the country. I really hope Democrats in other parts of the country and nationwide see the necessity and payoff of consistent, on the ground canvassing to build long0term political power.

And thanks again to you Michelle. Your hard work and diligence in tracking everything is very much appreciated. I'm very glad to subscribe to your newsletter.

Great news all around— this gives me hope that we are finally getting a grass roots movement going!! I voted in Dallas country so the only thing I had to choose was the city council candidate for District 11. I voted for Mona who didn't win as I suspected might happen. The other 2 candidates clearly had a lot more campaign funds to throw around. Obviously, I'll be giving my vote to Jeff Kitner in the next round since the alternative is Republican Bill Roth. Roth, by the way, filled my phone with blatant text messages asking for my vote every day during the final week of the election. I kept replying with STOP which should have opted me out, but it didn't work. I got so annoyed that I reported this abuse to the FCC, which I discovered is really easy to do.

Michelle, I noticed I got a lot of likes on my first comment. Is there a way I can learn if any of them would like to help us get Gina Ortiz Jones elected! She is asking for help. I wish there was a way to personal message me. Also, looking for Precinct Chairs in Bexar County. Hopefully we approving 6 more tonight.

Yeah. I feel good about our direction and hope for a Trump-backlash in Texas in 2026 that could push us blue (but I won't jinx it).

Somewhere deep in the heart of Texas, a school board Karen just clutched her pearls so hard they turned back into carbon.

Y’all, this wasn’t just an election. It was a spiritual exorcism with voter rolls.

The demons of book bans, forced birth politics, and church-supremacist cosplay just got rebuked by PTA moms, queer teens, exhausted teachers, and one very spicy librarian with a clipboard and a mission.

And in case MAGA needs a post-election prophecy to chew on:

When the people have had enough, they don’t whisper.

They vote. They organize.

And they show up with receipts.

Texas ain’t turning blue—it’s turning bold.

—Virgin Monk Boy

Anointing school boards with the oil of “get thee behind me, fascist.”
