Interesting enough I know a bit about this house district. I used to know someone who worked the campaign of the last person that ran against the incumbent. I hope to see that this HD has a new elected for this seat.
No seat should be safe or taken for granted. Complacency, apathy, and subservience aren't necessarily evil, but they've quietly undermined progress (and maybe even enabled that evil). Digging and scraping to the root of each incumbent and candidate is now the way forward.
