While it's insulting that SCOTUS gave the GOP the new map, I think it should goose Democratic turn-out, which, as you illustrated, is what's vitally important. We need clever weaponization of it for the primaries making it crystal clear that Trump, Abbott, & the Texas GOP acted unethically to ram this mid-decade redistricting down our throats for pure partisan advantage. I always told you to assume to new maps would stay in place. Yup, SCOTUS just blessed them for the stupidest fucking reason ever that makes zero logical sense
The conservatives are hell-bent on political power. I don't know if the district court went through a fact analysis of how the legislature was not acting in good faith, but they said the district court didn't give deference to the presumption of legislative good faith. HA! The Republican legislature and good faith. No such thing.
Oh they went through a very heavy analysis. It was 160 pages of factual gold. Although Republican prevented me from testifying in Arlington. I put in on the record today at Dallas Commissioners Court.
Oh who could have thought that federalist society hacks in the supreme court would do their republican masters bidding and rig everything in place for republicans. If the democratic party doesnt think its appropriate to fucking expand the supreme court. Mark my words, i will make it my life mission to pressure them so much they wont even have decisions to make in regards to their votes.
