Righteous. And in addition, as Progress Texas points out this morning, it really costs them nothing. Rosenthal, if elected, will be outnumbered by Republicans on the RR Commission. They are probably hearing from their O&G donors as well who would rather have someone who is well-qualified like Rosenthal rather than an idiot like French.

The "falls below conservative standards" comment from Matt Shaheen cracked me up. It sounded like he meant "this fell below our normally non-existent threshold" for racism. Thanks, Michelle, for bringing the receipts.

Let me count the ways they suddenly care just in time for the midterms...I just hope enough Texans hear enough truth before November. It should be easy for most voters to just say no to Bo if they found out what he's like compared to Jon Rosenthal, but I'm sadly aware of the truth twisting running rampant in our state. I just wrote about Bo here:

Glad you had the receipts. Undoubtedly Rosenthal is the superior candidate, but the fact is Republicans chose Bo in the primary, and they have no answer for that. Will you be explaining after the election how you keep track of legislation or even how you choose bills to notice. I use Texas Legislature online for a certain number of issues but I was unfortunately unaware of the bill last term that allowed state universities to deny outside access to campus because it was in higher Ed rather than just Ed.
