So let me get this straight, Brian Harrison blew up the entire legislative session because Democrats want to kill deer with guns? Let’s run against him and say he wants to take away our 2nd Amendment rights. Unbelievable.

It had nothing to do with the bill, it was because it was Zwiener’s. That’s it.

I get that but we need to say it is because Harrison doesn’t want people to have guns. We have to turn the narrative onto them using their own words. When they take away father’s rights by removing a two year old over his objections when the government deported the mother. This is how RBG framed her lawsuits, use the civil rights for the straight man to make the case for civil rights for all. So here use the rights of democratic male hunters who want to hunt deer with guns.

I voted for Democrats not to even vote for water; but I want to know how would you vote on that? Was I too radical? The Democratic Party Leadership needs to learn how to articulate what happened and let their constituents know! Again, since I have LaHood. What should I do? Call and tell him that I’m disappointed in his first term.

I don’t know if you have heard that W.Reed Williams will probably run. As a Democrat! I’m not sure how I feel about that. Laurel says she will too. They are both previous Republicans.

I don’t know how radical it is, that’s why I asked. I didn’t know Laurel was a previous R, idk if that matters as long as they’ve come around on their positions. Moderate? No, thanks. Progressives? Yes, please.

But then, when does it stop? What about other critical infrastructure? That's why I put no on everything.

For my area, we have had to accept People who have just learned they are not really GOP. Does Bexar County even have 1 progressive in the house. If it does, should I just move there? 😬

Yeah, I would say there are Democrats in Bexar that don’t identify as progressive, but mostly vote and lean that way.

10 years ago I would have said to vote for the water projects. Because no matter what, at least we were prioritizing the functional part of government. But with the state of affairs now, we no longer have that option.

For years I felt like democrats in Texas and at the Federal level have been keeping a system together using ducktape and glue. It has given people the impression that the government is still "functioning". But now that is no longer feasible.

1. Republicans constantly take credit for democrats cleanups and successes. Think the infrastructure package, Obama's economy, Texas' growth, and even the public education system we do have. Our improvement in education was with democratic leadership in the legislature and W. Bush in the governorship.

2. Republicans have the majority, let them own it all. But democrats need to be able to say loudly that we didn't let it crumble, we just stopped taping up the disasters Republicans have left when they break everything with a hammer. The citizens of Texas have to start learning the hard way.

3. Hopefully, with a new DNC leader, we can use the moment of Republican's slash burn policies into a growth for us.

Dems at the federal level are the worst.
