Taylor is the exactly the kind of candidate we need and this election will be like a municipal. Do not listen to the consultants. You can get thousands of voters to come out for this election if you just talk to them. That means when you are in Tarrant County or NW Dallas County, you are very likely to be next to a SD 9 voter. Strike up a conversation! This is a vote that has a huge national impact. Do you want to be a part of it? Every where I go, I talk about 3 things: Irving, Arlington, Ellis County. It is a mantra. I can’t vote for Taylor but I make sure and talk to all of everyone about him.

Totally agree! We want to do this all across CD 6 and SD 22, that is I 35 from Dallas through Tarrant into Ellis all the way to Waco! But signs cost money (a whole lot in Las Colinas, but not as much in Hill County!) but they cost money. I have the amazing graphics designers and can get them coordinated with our red county parties but we need money!

some stat or other said yardsigns only garner 1..5% extra vote.............but hard to argue the beto sign barrage wasn't effective, at least in my zip code

what i am talking about is all those right-of-ways all over a district....some better , much better than others

u got to have a few big sign to compete...so at least 10 or so, to let people know ur in the game

Michelle. I am a candidate that is trying to run for an state legislature seat but i find myself plagued with fears as i have never attempted to run for office. What advice would you give to younger folks who are feeling down or having self doubt despite having the capability? The campaign i want to try to will be grassroots but this is a area that has been disinvested for about 10 years.

Every first-time candidate feels doubt. The difference is pushing through it and remembering why you’re running. The truth is, the people who should be in office are often the ones who hesitate, while those who have no business governing jump in with complete confidence. Don’t let that hold you back. Your community needs authenticity.

Stay rooted in "why" you're running and connect it to what your community is going through.

Thank you Michelle. I think i can be a good public figure because i lived in this district since 2003 and i have experienced how so many issues we need to address havent been addressed such as mass transit, energy costs we lost power a couple of times here and ICE raids and etc. i have a good policy platform in mind but i get scared because i never did this and it feels so nerve wrecking trying to talk to people when we have such a fascist regime.

100%, I think you should totally go for it. Between you and me, everyone feels like that deep down, it's really all just a matter of swallowing it and stepping out of your comfort zone sometimes.

I hope so. I just feel very nervous in my ability to mount a campaign that is effective. I know the issues that tie to economic populism that is important but will that be enough. My district is a transit desert so i will advocate for mass transit, We need renewable energy or cheap energy costs because con edison our corporation electricity company keeps increasing our bill. A friend of mine had his electricity bill at 148 dollars last month. This month it increased to 348 fucking dollars. We also are impacted by climate change where the climate crisis especially heat waves increases the power usage where we lose power or we are under a heat advisory where we cannot use AC or any fans. ICE raids are rampant and we need legislatures to fight back.

I have a working class policy platform in mind because i have lived in for so many years and i do understand what is needed here. But its so overwhelming.

I met and visited with Taylor this week at a fundraiser. Kevin Burge, who is running in the primary to challenge Beth Van Duyne, came to support Taylor. These guys are young. They are union guys. They are serious. It's neat to see these young men who could easily read as "MAGA" running. And I am so happy they are stepping up. I believe they have the same campaign manager.

Taylor does need financial support. The dark money donors are going to be pouring money into the race. Hopefully Wambangass and Huffman will be beating each other up in this jungle primary and split the Republican vote. Because it is a primary pitting Republican v. Republican and one Democrat, it gives us a better chance to win with 51%. So, that is a good thing for Taylor.

But our challenge is reaching the youth and the young working families. I think the energy is there to punish Republicans, but the timeline is short and it is going to be hard just to make voters aware. Plans are afoot for block-walking and phone-banking.🤞

PS - It's not great news that the state is way behind on processing voter registration applications due to software issues.

we cannot possibly know who or what are the candidates ...that is the big time job of your county party

and if they have events...cause u can't know their contacts or if they use SM or emails or snail mail cause u have never heard of them .......

.........then thats another big big ta -do for the county party...

in our case i would count that as a success if my county party could manage to do that little thing...they can't or won't

if they don't do this, alaTarrant, or they don't have a county party or chair then is is TDP's job which they refuse to do

its is not voters job to investigate whose running and what events are they having

I decided to run for the U.S. Senate because we need 60 Democratic votes to get anything done in Washington. And because the Democratic party in Texas hasn't won a statewide race in over three decades,"

Heli doesn't have a FB icon on her website...i ain't gonna google so does is she have a FB presence

WTF Heli,,,,,,,60% of voters are seniors and do FB and not the other SM's..

why do they shoot themselves in the foot at the starting block gang?

ps; u guessed it....this is the kind of advice a seasoned political machine, say TCDP, TDP would advise. they of course are not and do not. whatever piss-ant audience Allison and Kendoll have on their email list, they should have sent that out.

if Heli's team is not so pissed off at me that they refuse my advice, i suggest this:

put a big honking sign at the corner of hulen and bellaire...and when an R sticks a sign in front of ur's put a bigger sign in front of theirs
