Texas Democrats Break Quorum To Save America
Texas Democrats are protecting Americans' freedom, while the GOP tries to rig the 2026 elections for Trump.
First reported by Politico, Texas Democrats have fled to Illinois, where they’ll be holed up under the protection of Governor JB Pritzker.
When Republicans attempt to gavel in tomorrow, they will not have a quorum.
Here is the press release from the House Democratic Caucus published at 4 pm.:
I spoke with House Caucus staffers, who confirmed that we have at least 51 Democrats who broke the quorum. I don’t know the final count or who stayed behind. We will learn more about that tomorrow.

Good news. I love that Gov. Pritzker is giving us sanctuary. I hope we can make this last. I love how the press release defines Republicans as quislings who are throwing Texans under the bus so they can bow down to Trump. That is completely in line with public sentiment.
Also, the press release was just about as aggressive as one can be within the bounds of professionalism. That is the right move against Trump. He is the proverbial bully who cries when you punch him in the nose.
Cautiously optimistic here.
