I just looked up voting locations for my area (Leander, Tx ) ,and I noticed that there are 6 early voting locations and 75 locations for Nov. 3rd. I think this ratio doesn't seem the best for both the voters and poll workers, especially if there is an expected early voting turnout. Are the distribution and numbers of polling locations a partisan decision? What are your thoughts on this?
The distribution and number of polls is determined by the county commissioner’s court. Leander is Wilco, right? That’s still red. So, yeah, that would be a Republican decision on purpose. But they’re supposed to have X number of polling locations based on population, I’d have to look up statutes if there’s anything about where they are spaced out at.
