OMG. I grew up in Aiken, SC — my dad got a job with DuPont at the Savanah River Plant after he graduated from Texas Tech. I worked hard in high school to learn real history of SC as opposed to UDC propaganda in the state approved textbooks. But I didn’t know about the Race Course Martyrs until today.
