I ended up having to be in Dallas. So I got listen and watch it between meetings. Alisa Simmons was amazing. Tim was throwing so many temper tantrums it was just funny. Does make me appreciate Dallas I guess, no one cutting off after speaking over, all the commissioners laughing with each other even when they disagree cause they are all on the same team. It isn’t the toxic Dallas City Council or even my Irving City Council. So for once I will be glad to live in Dallas County.
This was hard to read and watch. My BP probably is higher after reading it. I have to tell myself. Don’t think about things that you can’t change. Do the things you can change. I have had some great conversations at the doors. I tell those people; they are the wind beneath my wings. One person said “I’m doing the lords work”. This gives me the inspiration to go to the doors that have no soliciting signs because they don’t want to be neighbors and talk to anyone. I get it; they don’t want to be bothered. I tell everyone I am not soliciting; I’m electioneering. I am not selling anything, I’m encouraging everyone to vote. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
