1. What will the application for private/religious schools criteria look like, and who is approving/denying these schools?
2. Will the application process be publicized--Which schools made it, which didn't and why not?
3. Will the state require schools to track and make public the reasons why they denied students due to disability, perceived cultural differences, language "barriers", etc.?
Senate Democrats are much more conservative than the House. West, like Zaffarini and Hinojosa, has a long history of voting for Republican priorities. At best, I would call him a centrist.
I was really pleased with Molly Cook. She held Hughes' feet to the fire on his sad bill. I can't EVEN with with men whining about DEI being racist...what racism have any of these guys experienced? None!

This is symptomatic but not singular:
Leadership spent $35,000 on the annual fundraiser at Sheraton,a MAGA owned hotel, Not $7500 on a Quincera Hall on North Side owned by Hispanic Dems. That would be $25,000 we could give to Pct, Chairs , raise our profile in a Hispanic part of town, and put money in the pockets of local biz.
We sponsored a deportation protest....the Chair didn't show up and few staff spoke Spanish...it was families scared to death over deportation and TCDP , standing off 50 yds away, communicatting with few protesters but asking for donations.
Fundraising sucks and yet we doubled staff salaries.
Of the 250,000+ Dems in Tarrant County we talk to no one. Never , Ever. We spent $2K on pct chairs?????????
NO ONE KNOWS THERE IS A TARRANT DEM PARTY
Leadership is clueless and lazy but no one resigns.
