Austin had about 15,000 protesters without a single problem. We marched from the capitol to Auditorium Shores. Protesters thanked the police and DPS as they walked by--some even shook their hands. It was a peaceful and hopeful event.

Was amazing to see the Austin crowd fill the Capitol lawn and stay crowded all the way down Congress to Auditorium Shores, where the crowd gathered and partied on the lawn with food trucks, booths and music. People gathered in groups among the oaks and it felt a lot like ACL in the early days. A festival air. ‘‘Twas good for the soul to see so many cool young people, families with kids, fraternity types and elders alike walking the miles together👊🏼well done Austin Texas, and well done America♥️🇺🇸

The Austin Police tweeted a statement thanking participants and said there were no arrests. There was no national guard and police presence was minimal. At the June protest there were some red guard types who did vandalism but thankfully didn't show this time. Hands off central texas did a great job with organizing

You asked if TCDP leadership was out there and I saw their social media post showing they were. I am not associated or affiliated with the county party or any organization outside of this newsletter. If you have something you want to know about your county party, I would suggest contacting them directly. Please keep these comment sections respectful.

i expect of the 200+ county party people a few would post to the influential LSL,

the point is not to call anyone out but rather to point out how TCDP fails to communicate with us voters,
