Lots to do, but you picked the right races! Fahad winning with 50.54% with all Irving sites in, and Kejal easing out Tammam by 4 votes to face Abdul in the runoff! We will see! I have to go to bed!

In Frisco, there's a steady stream of newcomers landing in the city, and a steady stream of 10-20 year residents who know all the local players and struggles moving out. That is a huge problem for turnout. Most of these voters come from places where there isn't a pitched battle over the school board, and even when they do realize the stakes, it takes time to be in the know. Nevertheless, we have managed to keep the faux Christian public education destroying kooks in the minority on Frisco ISD school board. The City Council is deeply corrupted by real estate developer money at this point, and good Dem candidates are staying away. Politics in Frisco City Hall have gotten dirty and unpleasant enough that good people no longer want to work there.
