She just had her 1st Fox for Texas strategy meeting last Saturday at the Fischer Community Center. 60 folks showed up! Merrie is a retired principal, intelligent, articulate and kind person. She definitely can hold her ground. Please check her out. She will be considered a viable candidate soon.
Pleeeeze bring the Texas Supreme Court races to the attention of Texans. There are 4 seats up for re election. The 4 incumbents were appointed by Greg Abbott. The following election cycle, they run and usually win because people don't know enough about the candidates. These 4 justices are affiliated with the Heritage Foundation. One is with the Federalist Society. In 2024, Democrats had some great candidates, but it was a low turnout election. I'd like to see them run again in the mid terms. At any rate, please make a point of educating people on our Supreme Court. Greg has quite the scam going. Justices leave their seat before their term is up and this gives Greg the power to appoint the successor. Let's end that scam.

Thanks. She isn't on the Secretary of State's office website for either party yet, so I'll keep a lookout. I have been informed that the SOS website is slow and not updating all the candidates quickly enough, but I'm checking a few times a day. In the long run, if they don't file the paperwork and fees by Monday, they don't make it.
