She just had her 1st Fox for Texas strategy meeting last Saturday at the Fischer Community Center. 60 folks showed up! Merrie is a retired principal, intelligent, articulate and kind person. She definitely can hold her ground. Please check her out. She will be considered a viable candidate soon.
Pleeeeze bring the Texas Supreme Court races to the attention of Texans. There are 4 seats up for re election. The 4 incumbents were appointed by Greg Abbott. The following election cycle, they run and usually win because people don't know enough about the candidates. These 4 justices are affiliated with the Heritage Foundation. One is with the Federalist Society. In 2024, Democrats had some great candidates, but it was a low turnout election. I'd like to see them run again in the mid terms. At any rate, please make a point of educating people on our Supreme Court. Greg has quite the scam going. Justices leave their seat before their term is up and this gives Greg the power to appoint the successor. Let's end that scam.

The fact that HD 10 incumbent Brian Harrison hasn’t filed yet is he is waiting to see what Jake Ellzey does, so can’t wait till the Congressional races are done. From what I know Beth Van Duyne hasn’t filed yet either! You know That CD 6 and CD 24 plus Taylor SD 9 special election means something. Guess Shatzline dropped out because he thinks he might lose to Taylor ?
