Wow! Thanks for the report. I had no idea this even happened. Allison is Texas Republicans' worst nightmare. And, you are absolutely right. Abbott and O'Hare are telegraphing their weaknesses. And it feels so good that Allison and many others are capitalizing on their weakness. And, here's my report.
I just got through making the hike from NE Tarrant to whatever it is, SW Fort Worth to pick up signs and literature from the Tarrant County Democrats HQ. That place is hopping! Candidate signs and literature are moving fast. When ordinary people take it up on themselves to figure out how to find this not at all easy to find Democratic HQ office because they want yard signs, then you know something is up!
Even if we don't win (we will), Democrats fighting back is a beautiful thing. And it is confusing the hell out of Republicans, isn't it? They thought they could just throw out some middle school insults to define us and then just sit back and win.
For sure. After all this, I might nominate Allison the Queen of Texas politics. Someone was just asking me if the party was her full time job, and I was like, I don’t know, but she has a bunch of small kids, practices jujitsu, is a doctor/scientist, and I’m pretty sure she fights crime in the evenings. She’s amazing!
