Michelle today 11/11 I read a comment on Chris Tackett post on See it Name it Fight it reporting there were many cases of voters showing up to vote and finding themselves not registered. The commenter was asking if Chris had heard this same report. The assertion was that Harris loss wasn’t a phenomenon of democrats deciding not to vote for Harris, but that Texas did massive voter purging.

Would our poll watchers have caught that on the exit polls?

I think this would be interested to pursue. I was not a poll watcher, but I do lots of VR, mostly through LWV. After the October 7 deadline has passed, I spent lots of time on campuses near me for voter info purposes. We always asked voters to double check this registration and

Frequently they were not registered as they had thought. I believe this is a significant issue, and by the time early voting starts, the deadline has passed.

The poll watchers would be talking about it. And the loss didn’t only happen in Texas. So it’s >50% of my neighbors who sat out or “just couldn’t do it” to elect a woman

Maybe. I haven't read it yet, I'll check it out. I am hearing about issues similar all over the place, but I'm not sure what can be done about it now. I haven't heard any poll watchers mention it.
