And about your friend who switched parties, I would suggest to Texas Democrats to hammer his corruption and party switching as a typical GOP thing to - "Democrats clean up GOP corruption while Repubs clean up with taxpayer money"
I think you're right about that. There are other "party switchers" who have ties to corruption. Perhaps tie all of them to GOP corruption and make it a point.

I read about this bastard with money laundering. Of course this fucking bastard decides to escape to the republican party to escape accountability cause of his disgusting actions of money laundering. I just got into contact with someone from the South Dakota Democratic Party. The same thing happened where their previous party chair embezzled funds when the biden campaign in 2020 provided them funding. Instead of taking accountability, she doubled down and she was then ousted out. However what was interesting that there was a 19 year old Native American who attempted to run for party chair but apparently the former chair lobbied her staff and vice chair to remove that person out of the candidate process and instead appointed her vice chair to run the South Dakota Democratic Party. Its not just him. There are a lot of democratic officials that are preventing so many young people to run these positions for "seniority" and greed. Also feel better Michelle!

Not only is the TCDP clown car full of drunken clowns w/o DL's , they will run over anyone who tries to steer em on to Success Ave. We could fix this, we won't.
For those who think the political machine is useless , in its current iteration in Tarrant County I agree. But it us essential.......a political party with well resourced pct. chairs and a leader who will make their prescience known can alert the some 50% who don't vote. Hard to win a seat in a non-gerrymanderd district whose voters are not already dialed into the prog message...
In TC the Opal Lee Industrial Complex has done an excellent job of promoting black issues......National Holiday? Need i say more.....But Blacks are only 15% of TC population and so cannot very likely capture all the vote of Latinos needed and who have no county wide political representation.......I couldn't say why TC Latinos can't be bothered but of course the polls tell us then aren't.
I was a one man search committee seeking a Latino Chair....not in name , but in actual experience,.,,,,either sale/marketing and organization and bi-lingual , That is uncool in the brains of the stultified self referential CEC and swap meet that is the Chairs' race.
So i will be candid, in the next few election cycles don't count on Tarrant county and its 350,000 Dems for anything.
