Another great read....."Black Like Me'. by John Griffin, from Dallas. You have to read his bio on Wiki....he's like no one you ever heard about....He chronicled life in Jim Crow south by tinting his skin dark and passing a negro and then writing all about it. They made a movie. His son is a friend from McClean Jr. Hi and Paschal.
we are definitely in Jim Crow 2.0 ......
"Federal health workers are expressing fear and alarm after a website called “DEI Watch List” published the photos, names and public information of a number of workers across health agencies, describing them at one point as “targets.”
It’s unclear when the website, which lists mostly Black employees who work in agencies primarily within the Department of Health and Human Services, first appeared."
I had to read "Black Like Me" in my Texas History class a few semesters ago. It was my first time reading it. I understand it was from another era, and it was a good read, but it felt a lot like "Black Face."
Tomlison's book on the Alamo was called, "Forget the Alamo."
