In 2020 the Georgia Democratic Party had a program to contest every state representative and every state senate race. They beat the bushes to find people and then got them some help. My son ran in a bright red district with no real expectation of winning, but he made appearances and undoubtedly had some impact on who voted. And what was the result? Biden won Georgia by 11,780 votes.
