It is all about walking every single precinct and having lit about voting. What I know from the 77 precincts in Irving, well the precincts I walked only 3 weeks before the election (cause I thought the Dallas County had it) with Allred Campaign, all went like this: Trump, Allred, Cannaday. Yup, Dems lost the top and the bottom of the ticket. So on 2026 we have to walk all precincts starting now and have lit for all Dems. Why didn’t I have lit for all Dems in Irving? Cause the lit from Dallas County didn’t have our candidates and lit from Tarrant County didn’t have our candidates on it. So there go, cause we are so damn gerrymandered on the federal and state level and my city is chopped up six ways to Sunday. Literally. 4 school districts, 3 house districts, two senate districts and three congressional districts! No wonder no one wants to print lit for us!

u may have no lit,...i have no cans.......er candidates, not for US House, Tx House, Tx Senate

since we aren't competitive at top...there isn't a whole lot of point voting...and voters know this.....

The sad reality that has been ignored by Democrats for decades .-. I just cant breathe sometimes knowing that all of this could have avoided if the national party would have given you all a chance.

i think this is symptomatic....go to our website ..https://tarrantdemocrats.org/*

click on "newsroom'......all u get is old news about our Chair ......

u can click around but u can't find anything useful to the curious voter

i don't know if we have a functioning FB. Bluesky shows 650 followers and carries no news about the Texas Gerrymander wars or our own Rep being held poltical prisoner. MD tells me she got political news from the Chair's personal FB...WTF.........interesting for the Chair to talk to her friends but not communicate with the 350,000 Dems in TC

In other words u just moved here from NoCal or Austin, u want to be clued in...u don't read the paper, so u have to be intutive enough to imagine to subscribe to the Chairs personal FB to read politcal news.....and if ur not that savy, say a working Hispanic family, u can find out NOTHING about poltics that effect u. U certainly have never had a pct chair contact u.

Its the easy thing in the world is to have social media working for u day and nite.....and to not do that shows massive disengagement.

AND its our only poltical activity.

Its the Chairs fault but i have heard of no CEC quitting in protest.

Really Tarr Dems is just a club for insiders to meet and carouse...its not a functioning poltical party acting like one

then there is the personal: our current chair was chair before. she quit, no reason given. We selected and new chair, known only to insiders, she quit too and we gave the chair back to allison, again in a selection, not an election. Futrue to the Back so to speak.

TCDP or TarrantDems or whoever we are, did nothing to

promote Hands Off, No Kings or Beto....arguably the only political activity going on in Tarrant County since the election.

and of course we communicate to no one about white hot poltical events of the moment....by contrast I get and email once a week from Tarrant GOOPers' and their Chair.

Even though FTW is 40% Hispanic we have little to no Hispanic engagment in the County party

Absolutely correct analysis, Michelle. Keep up the good work. BTW, no one in the East knows the first thing about Texas. The Texas delegation to Congress, Greg Abbott, and Ken Paxton, are defining Texas for the rest of the country, and they believe that those individuals are supported by a majority of Texans. So, we have to put up with a lot of hate and misunderstanding from other Americans, on top of being subjected to the abuses of our own state government. Thank you for all you do!

It's discouraging to be a Democrat in Texas because the national Democratic Party abandoned Texas long ago, institutionalizing a fossilized leadership that spent nothing and had no message. Anyone who follows the state legislature and executive agencies is going to need frequent detox from the constant lying and corruption. But there's a fresh wind that blows against the Republican Party of Texas, and a blue tsunami is about to wash over America, happening now and in the next 15 months. There have been 22 overperformances by Democrats in 24 elections between Jan-May 2025, meaning that they were not even remotely close wins. These Democratic victories included a state Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin, the mayor of Omaha, in ruby red NE, that overturned a Republican for the first time in ten years, and five special elections that flipped state legislatures from red to blue. Two states have gubernatorial elections in Nov. 2025, NJ and VA. In VA, the Democrat has a 10-12 point lead, and with the number of civil servants being tortured by the Trump regime who live in VA, she is likely to win. It's a correct statement that a majority don't vote in Texas, and the reason is that voting changes nothing for them. But engagement/apathy is not an on/off position; it's more of a spectrum from "Have no fucks left to give" to "Unlock the gun safe". The relevant question is how bad do things have to get before Texans feel they must vote? We're about to find out, because Trump's minions have created chaos in the economy, and shit is about to hit the fan. The economy has been sent into a steep slide by Trump's tariffs and massive disruption of government spending, and it isn't just a slide into recession, because it will also feature inflation and shortages; aka the most dreaded and feared "Stagflation". People are going to lose their jobs, retailers and small businesses will go out of business, the housing market will freeze up, banks will tighten credit, and there will be shortages of food and goods. No need to rely on the power of my humble TAMU MS Econ for expertise. I suggest following Paul Krugman, Noble prize winning economist and Robert Reich, who have both been giving easy to follow explanations on Substack about how the saboteurs in the WH are blowing up the economy. The bottom line is that Texans already don't have a lot of financial security, due to years of Republican grift. They are going to very quickly sink into the kind of poverty where they can't feed their children, and are about to lose the roof over their heads. When that happens, in the next 12 months, Texas Democrats need to have their party in order to organize, lead, and give hope to their fellow Texans who will be suffering. Don't worry about convincing Texans to vote as much as having your infrastructure stood up. Democrats must all be shouting in one voice, loud and clear, what the party stands for, that Dems stand up for the people, that Dems are the opposition, not the collaborators of the past, but a new generation of leaders, and that we are going to take back Texas.

Put propositions back on the Democratic Primary Ballot! We have no say in our own party. We need our representatives to take a snapshot survey about what is important to the majority of us. You might be surprised to learn that while we believe in so many things, the party doesn’t focus on the top ten things that affect our lives. We are sick and tired of the Old Guard telling us what we should believe in.

they thing is MD....its not that u can't find out...its that the non-voter will never hear this ,..they don't read FWST or FWR or TT

They may get curious and google Dems Tarrant or something to that effect .....if they ever get to our website there they will learn that Crystal resigned and Allison replaced her.

that's all the news Allsion has ever printed..

TCDP could email the news as it happens ,..or at least post it when it happens

Kendoll emails me once a day........no problemo

TCDP cannot figure out a communications strategy for anyone others than those in the know

i don't know why i have to explain this...u are well aware but don't think it deserves ur criticial eye
