Just an idle thought. Abbott knows they run the risk of a dummymander. So, he puts redistricting on the special session agenda to placate Trump, but then Republicans don't fight hard and 'lose'. This way, they protect their incumbents and keep Trump off their back.

That's a real possibility. Right now, I would say anything is possible. Even backroom deals currently being made between Democrats and Republicans in Austin. (No, I haven't heard anything, but I wouldn't count it out.)

My restack attempt aren't going thru.

By election in 2926, are they talking abt "midterms??"

Thoughts on Colin Allreds run for Senate?? Imo, we NEED him & so does #JasmineForUS. She NEEDS a good Dem to assist her.

Have a good week, Michelle!! 🥰💙🙌🏼☮️

That’s weird. I wonder if Substack is buggy. I am not an Allred fan and will not be supporting him on the primary.

Mark Cuban....a guy who knows marketing........ from Huff Post........Dems focus too much on 'Trump sucks"

for the low wattage or no wattage voter I agree....for them its quincera halls, meat markets and walmart talking prices and deportation.....(i think both will resonate)

for the rest of us...i can't get enough of Trump Sucks....in all its permutations and combinations.

I heard Saturday on the North East Bexar County Democrats (NEBCD) that Laurel Jordan Swift is not going to run again. I still need to confirm it.

I also want to learn more about Jonathan Taylor. When I Googled his name a football player comes up. I hope you find out more about him.

Also at NEBCD, I learned that Kristian Carranza has an opponent. I don’t remember his name. I tried to recruit him for Precinct Chair before he announced to us that he is running. Maybe it’s on your article. I’ll check later. I’m ready for December 8, 2025. ✌🏼☺️

to use ur own words....u know i would .......Texas is 40% Hispanic, 38% non-Hispanic white, 13% Black, and 6% Asian.

where is the Hispanic outreach Alison.........at the Deportation Protest in WS, sponsored by TCDP. there was a broad chasm between TCDP, NWP and the actual Hispanics protesting...

that's the canyon we have to cross......

start with Hispanic outreach..........hire a quincera hall , hire a band, serve some beer

BTW just to show i don't hold a grudge to the TCDP leadership, Goldman reigns beyond the gates of the Fort Worth Club....just across the street....a few signs directed towards him would be nice

ever wonder why FEMA was delayed in Kerrville.....as Salon tells it , its goes all the way back to Obama and FEMA camps and rounding up whites..........well even before that, but its a white nationalist fever dream and of course Noem has those dreams even in her waking hours..

so conspiracies are alive and well....even though people in Kerrville are not....
