It sounds like I’m overstating. I’m not. The thing is, I first observed Gina in Austin confronting the same interests that have now taken over Houston ISD, Beaumont ISD, and Ft.Worth ISD. This was in 2013 when the superintendent attempted to close Elisha M. Pease elementary school, the oldest public school in Texas. Gina won that fight. She went to the lege and fought the worst sorts in committee after committee and on the house floor calling out their nonsense, exploitation of Texans and self serving profiteering at every opportunity. When she becomes governor we will have a consistent leader unlike any before.
I am always hopeful and believe my candidates stand a good chance of winning but this year I really mean it. Especially hopeful for Chelsey Hockett, CD5, now that we know Lance Gooden is under a USHouse Ethics investigation. They won't do anything but maybe the voters will. About legislative list, I have my own, with elections legislation being a broad one, but what's the Elections Committee meeting on April 4 really about, bringing in stormtroopers to maintain order?????

I am 84 years old! I fully support the first 3 items on the needed changes. I’m for cannabis but don’t think that can happen in my lifetime.
I think we need to concentrate on the top 3 items and hope for the best!
IMO, whenever we get control, we need to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.
