I remember participating in a text bank session for Beto in 2022. A lady responded to the initial message saying something to the effect that she was a Republican and will vote for Abbott. I thanked her for letting us know and moved on to other responses. She responded back and asked if Beto is pro choice. I replied yes and sent her a brief message with BetoтАЩs position on abortion. She replied back that then she will vote for Beto.
Hopefully conservative women in Texas will be more concerned after these developments but some may still be unaware of the implications of this law on their families. So Democrats will need to reach out to them to earn their votes.
