Fox Polls have Talarico up and Hinojosa within the margin of error. So I will take that for a national poll! I am very bullish on Clayton, especially cause Sid Miller will deliver an October surprise and fully endorse him. I frankly wouldn’t be surprised if both Angela Paxton AND John Cornyn endorse Talarico in October. That would be something.
I am praying to dear god that there will be a blue wave of unexpected sorts for Texas. Everyone is working so hard and i see that effort. At the end James Talarico victory will be fine if he wins but i am really hoping that will translate to a down ballot effect so the issue of gerrymandering, voter suppression, economic reforms and etc can pass finally. Voter Suppression is rampant and i am so tired of how it really affects Texans ability to engage in civics and political engagement.

To say Gina is picking up steam is an underestimation, but everyone underestimates Gina. This is the reason Abbott won’t debate her. Gina is picking up steam and she’s gaining momentum meeting one voter on the ground at a time, and since this campaign started last November, Gina has not stopped meeting people where they live (this is unusual).
Gina is on a mission, or better said Gina is on fire. Gina spent her time in the lege wilderness and now she’s entering Jerusalem. The Pharisees and saducees underestimate Gina. The polls underestimate Gina. The “maybe” is, will enough voters see Gina and meet Gina to turn the tables on the vendors at the temple. When voters meet her, they will know.
I’m concerned about the comptroller race. There are so many positions to know about, and I don’t think comptroller is high up on anyone’s list. People don’t know what it really is, and certainly don’t know why it is so important. If Don Huffines wins, it will be a disaster for state workers and state services. Sarah Eckhardt has an excellent background, and she’s what my grandma used to call a “tough cookie.“ I saw her last night for the second time up here in Collins County. She’s campaigning hard all over the state. But Abbott has made Huffines an incumbent, making Eckhardt’s task all the more difficult.
Oh yeah. That one too. The good thing Eckhardt has going for her in that race is, well, a few things actually. First, Huffines bought the Epstein property, and it doesn’t matter what he says; it’s a bad look. Second, he’s a white supremacist. Do enough people know that? I hope so. Mainstream Texas media has published it before. Third, he’s uber-wealthy, and aren’t we sick of the rich running our lives?
I admit I forgot he bought the Epstein ranch. Someone reminded me of that a few days ago. Maybe Eckhardt should make more of it. Being uber-wealthy is so common in politics nowadays that I’m not sure it will carry a lot of negative weight.

The San Antonio Report published a voter guide. They listed who will be on the ballot. I was upset to see that our Democratic Party Candidates have 3 opponents! Not just a Republican but a libertarian and Green or independent! 😠🥺😳 I feel that we must extra hard to get our Democratic Party Candidates names out there.
While Block walking for Zach Dunn, our Script did say if he was a Democrat or Republican. I guess this is a tactic he is trying. When I was talking to a person at the door; they asked me what are some of his policies, I mentioned that he was a prosecutor not a defender like Marc LaHood. Who has defended a person accused of pedophilia. Dunn for HD121 also believes in helping Public Schools get the funds they need and affordable Health care by expanding Healthcare.
She said; he has my vote. 😳 No one has ever said that to me.

The San Antonio Report listed state wide candidates too. Some of those you spoke of. For example Vickie Goodwin and Senate! So those are not in San Antonio. They are state wide. I worry about everyone in my ballot.

There’s only one district I’m worried about a 3rd-party candidate in, and it’s not in San Antonio.
