going into this with rather low expectations i have to say i’m pleasantly surprised by tarrant county’s democratic challengers! not to say that there aren’t seats that still need a dem contender (ahem - david cook (HD96) and stephanie click / david lowe (HD91) - among others), but all in all i’m grateful for the number of texas democrats…
going into this with rather low expectations i have to say i’m pleasantly surprised by tarrant county’s democratic challengers! not to say that there aren’t seats that still need a dem contender (ahem - david cook (HD96) and stephanie click / david lowe (HD91) - among others), but all in all i’m grateful for the number of texas democrats willing to step up and stand against the far-right extremists who are so loosely tethered to reality.
I was on a recruitment call last night with several organizations, we might actually have candidates for those seats. They have until Monday to file, but I'm expecting dozens to file over the weekend. Once the deadline is passed, I'll post an updated list.
