This is where I’ll be tracking who’s running for office, the US Senate and Congress. I’ll update it regularly as new candidates file, drop out, or switch races.
After today, you’ll always find the link to this page at the bottom of each newsletter. Check back periodically to stay current.
I’ve done my best to add websites and social media sites for Democrats when I can find them. I haven’t added links to Republicans and Independents, because this is a partisan newsletter (duh). If you don’t see a website or social media presence for a candidate, it’s because I couldn’t find one, but I’ll keep looking.
Incumbents have an asterisk (*) next to their name. Since it’s still early, no Congress member has announced they’re seeking re-election yet, but as they do, I will bold their name or strike it out if they are not.
Otherwise, I haven’t added anyone until they’ve either filed or announced their candidacy. Therefore, there’s no need to email me to inform me that someone intends to run; I’ll add them when they file or announce their candidacy.
I also decided not to add them to this list unless they have a website (for both parties, so I’ve at least looked up the Republicans, too).
As there’s still plenty of time for people to join, switch races, or withdraw, everything is subject to change.
You can find a list of the state races here. I’m sure I’ll get around to the judicial races eventually as well.
