Makes great sense. Get the votes where the votes are. As my Neigbor to the East has proven, you can be a large metropolitan Democratic redoubt if your Dem voters vote. I am repeating much of what Michele has said but I speak as an everyman with some politcal savy. In Tarrant County Beto didn't show up but once. I learned of this visit only after the fact. And his yard signs never showed up. in 2018 in my neighborhood you could body surf across Beto yard signs. 2022 none. What happened? I dunno and there is no one to ask at the County Party. I will disagree with alot of Dems but abortion is not the issue amongst the growing Hispanic vote....Did i mention they are about 75% Catholic and very much sill culturally patriarchal. There are tons of issues related to marternal mortality and Health Care in general however that any low income voter would support by voting if they were only made aware. . No Tarrant voter was ever confronted by any Dem telling how to get their well deserved Obamacare with massive subsidies and no Dem ever took credit or bothered to explain how we actually expanded Mediaid for Mom's with newborns. When they get a benefit they have no idea who to credit. We have new Chair as of last Saturday and yet there is no publicity about that and she has not posted her plans anywhere. She has had a month to think about it.....and no publised plans.....heh Crystal i published my plans here...steal em!!!!! So Tarrant County remains red even as we have more registered voters because we continure to lack any kind of leadership. We Tarrant County Party Dems patently refuse to engage voters where they live on the issues they care about.

I don't know what the deal was with Beto for 2022. People were begging him to put ads on the air to counter Greg Abbott's in west Texas and he was late opening offices along the border. I know he had the money. I was so disappointed.

in the thrilling yestyear of 2018 a nieghbor complemented me on my Beto yard. He was an oil and gas guy and said his boss would fire him if he put up a yard sign. An exaggeration i am sure but symptomatic. You can go anywhere wearing a insurrectionist Maga/Trump gimme cap. Dem caps? what? never seen one! Are they against the law? We have alllowed our selfs to be cowed,,,,,not by threat of death but by getting kicked out of our golf foursome . I told all my neigbors if they are MAGA we need never talk........i don't wann play nice and i want them to feel the ostracasion of civilized people.

I want Chrystal Gayden to come out swinging and not just drumming up business for her law practice. So far she is silent. I want a party that will call out every Republican Barbarity and lie. Out Mayor Mattie Price (R) came out supporting ME and followed up with an LBGQT ban. Not a peep out of any one in our County. My city councilman ran as MAGA...he ran unopposed.

In Tarrant County the prescriptiiobn is simple to get our D advantage to turn into wins at the pols...

I've decided to go ahead on my own and formulate a game plan for the next 16 months. I've joined a few Democrat clubs near me, but I'm also going to do things on my own, like voter registration. It's going to take every, single one of us to get involved. Join a Democrat club. Take a zoom training to get your family and friends to the polls. Do Something!

This just in: "Cancun" Cruz bested by dumbass and White Nationalist fav Tommy Tuberville....former HC of TTU. On CNN last nite Tuberville proved once again racists are just plain stupid.

We await Canook Cruz's response. Maybe a call to build a hay bale wall on the North Dakota border or water ski patrol along the Rio Grande.

Go get em Ted.

on the off chance anyone at TCDP reads LSL

i get 1 or 2 eamils a week from Tarrant R's.....this is one example

this week inviting me to koin 'chairmen's circle'

from TCDP there is not even an announcement of new chair. if you want to learn about that got to tarrantdemocrats.org....not TCDP.com...we don't own that URL or any other iteration of Tarrant and Dems.....

unless you are in know already you will learn nothing about TCDP, its thought,s feelings, hope, dreams. You can learn how to donate on home page but you can't learn about what we care about or might do for any voter.

Michelle, I could not agree more. If we do not turn out voters, progressives can not and will not win. Money is poured into campaigns, who have no intention of increasing voter turnout. They only want to turn out their base. Until candidates, consultants, and campaign and finance managers spend money on working to get voters to the polls, Texas remains a GOP Trifecta state.

And would like to invite you to learn more about Rideshare2Vote (www.rideshare2vote.com) in Texas. The only progressive voter digital outreach team that offers and complete our Ride2Vote program every election.

Sarah , you will hear a lot from me because as Michele reported Tarrant CAN BE a pivotal county nationwide....

of course there is no link nor any mention of rideshare2vote on TCDP website.

there are dozens of orgs doing great things...but they are all siloed. In fact i am not sure how i got connected to LSL.....not thru and Tarrant Dem org or person

so for your org, contact someone at TCDP
