I live in Smith Co (unfortunately). We are active with the Democratic Party here. BUT... let me tell you about disfunction!! They are too busy fighting each other to organize a two car parade. We can’t even get out of the gate!!
We need to reach every single Dem in our county and we need to be able to get some kind of data on where to start. Help!!
I am very familiar with the dysfunction in Smith County, it's unfortunate. I'm in talks with some organizations about content I can get out after the lege is over to help people get more involved and know where to focus on. Expect to see that over the summer.
I can't thank you enough for this data. I have spent countless hours trying to put this info together so I could make sense of what was happening. All of us who are discouraged need to be reminded of the fact that minority rules right now because most voters don't vote. My next task will be figuring out how to change that.
