“Texas has never been a red state. It’s a nonvoting state, and Republicans have spent 30 years making sure it stayed that way. This year, we broke the midterm early vote turnout. If we break Election Day turnout, then we may flip Texas.”
This says to me that democrats just rolled over. That Democrats didn’t give voters anyone worth voting for anywhere. What in the hell bull is that? Our poor state has endured this evil regime for decades and for what reason? I’ve always assumed we were a state of hateful, racist, dunces…
Gregory, people evetywhere are always saying the Democrats need to do this or that? Do you vote for Democrats? I mean, what is really meant by that phrase? I have most of my life voted for Democrats and focused on issues more than candidates. I have volunteered for some candidates, but finally became a precinct chair. So am I part of the Democrats that need to do something about something? Just curious how people see things.
Gregory, Elections are not a spectator’s sport; we must all get involved. Granted, I did not get involved until 2017! In 2/2018, I became a precinct chair. As an introvert, it was not easy.
When I learned that I was gerrymander by the Orange goon via the Governor Abbott, I started telling everyone that I lived in CD35 now. I told them that I made it my mission to have the CD35 seat go to a Democratic Party candidate. If they lived in CD35. I asked them to help. As soon as I could print sample ballots for my precinct neighbors, I did. I had 10 people in my precinct to help me encourage neighbors to talk to their neighbors to vote. Everyone that I told that they were gerrymandered, many were not aware, they agreed. They must vote!
People are too busy to keep up with all this information. We all need to help each other out.
Gina!
You know what’s troubling?

We had really shitty leadership for a long time.
I didn’t realize the degree of shitty.
Should I get excited yet?
Yes. Get very excited.
You’re the best Ms. Michelle!

Why do you suppose the polls are so off?
