Lone Star Left’s Final Congressional Endorsements
The progressive seal of approval, final round.
Early voting starts tomorrow. These are my final Congressional endorsements. I actually made a graphic this time (not in Microsoft Paint). I wish we had more time for me to write full-length articles for each one. But remember, my litmus test was universal healthcare, which every candidate below passed. All of the candidates below do get the progressive seal of approval (from Lone Star Left).
If you missed my previous full-length endorsements:
And now the rest of them:
TX05 - Chelsey Hockett
TX11 - Claire Reynolds
TX12 - Kenneth Morgan-Aguilera
TX14 - Konstantinos Vogiatzis
TX17 - Milah Flores
TX21 - Regina Vanburg
TX25 - William Marks
TX26 - Ernest Lineberger
TX27 - Tanya Lloyd
TX30 - Pastor Freddie Haynes
TX31 - Justin Early
TX35 - John Lira
Note: I didn’t endorse anyone who wasn’t running in a primary. There are still some good progressives out there, and we’ll get to them in the general election.
And I wasn’t planning on endorsing Congressional candidates for re-election, because the three I would endorse, Veronica Escobar, Joaquin Castro, and Greg Casar, are all in safe seats and are going to win re-election.
Early voting starts tomorrow, and the clock is officially ticking down.
Stay tuned tonight, I’ll have the legislative endorsements up before midnight strikes. I promised I’d get them to you before voting begins, and we’re cutting it close enough to feel appropriate.
Over the next few days, the speculation phase ends, and the numbers phase begins. Turnout patterns, regional splits, who organized and who just posted, which coalitions showed up, and which ones only existed online.
Campaigns talk in narratives. Elections answer in math.
We’re about to see what Texas Democrats actually are, not what anyone hopes they are.
And once those numbers land, we’ll break them down together.

Let’s go Konstantinos!!
It'll be a suprise and a disappointment not to see a Lone Star Left endorsement in the Land Commissioner race. This office may be somewhat unknown, but who manages the state's General Land Office and how they manage it affects how billions of dollars are - or are not - used to help millions of Texans every day....
